Picked up a packed of 10 querkle seeds, soaked them over night then placed them into the paper towel bag method. Only been in the paper towel for 8 or so hours now and most of them have the tap root poking out already. I got the super soil mix brewing in the trash can for when they are ready to transplant for flower. Sorry in advance for any stupid questions that I may ask I've dipped into soil, its always been hydro. First off is it ok to put a germed seed straight into roots organic soil? I donno if it burn the fuck out of it or not or even what the deal is.

Thanks and stay medicated

Roots Organics soil won't burn them.

I use Root's in my mixture, somewhat similar to Subcool's but a little bit different.

Root's Soil is fully composted so no harm to your babies :)

Soaked seeds for 24 hours in RO water, germed them for only 12 hours in paper towel (tap roots shot out) and planted them in little square planters. They are in Roots organic and natural mixed with some other roots that had more coco. The querks are just sprouting out of the soil all of them germed and looks like all of them will take. There's 9 in the cabinet with a 125 watt 6500k cfl and 42 watt 2700k cfl. the other querkle is in my hempy bucket room.

irish thanks bud, I'm really happy with the quality of the seeds. All 10 germed and took and are already startin to look like little cheeba plants.
Thinkin about getting another TGA strain any suggestions? I've been eyeballin Qrazy Train and Qleaner.

Buddreams,
for the SS there weren't really too much of a difference.
Did a half mix of his recipe because I am doing this as a test and really wanted to grow Querkle the same way it was bread.
For the 4 bags of organic soil I mixed 2 bags of Roots organic and natural with 2 bags of the roots soil that has a little dif ingredients with more coco.
Got granular azomite, some granular mycorrhizae, epson salt, dolomite lime, couldnt find fish bone meal so just got regular that was only a little off from the fish one, blood meal, pure organic worm castings, and bat guano. probably going to let it cook for 7-8 weeks.

Looks like you went shopping, have the same stuff I used so you should be in business

When you get into flowering look into getting some molasses & bud candy, I also use budswell in the mix - bat guano every other water-ish

Just wait unit you try your 1st hit & you will know why you went through all the trouble, time well spent in my eyes

I am smoking a little of this right now

And it tastes like fruity pebbles cereal and soooooo smooth

Good luck on your grow I will be pulling up a chair for this one

holy shit... creamed my self a little. What is that?
And as for molasses I have Hi-Brix which is pretty much straight up molasses for plants. Also have Floranectar or w.e. Will try the bat guano water mix once they are in flower.

To test if i'm going to be done with hydro for a bit Ive decided to do a test with with 2 barneys farm LSD seedlings (one in soil and one in mini hempy cup) also I am doing a test with barneys farm Pineapple chunk with one in each. If I get similar yields to the hempy bucket method I might just completely switch to SS, specially from what I hear on how smooth and how awesome the taste is from flowers grown in SS.

Subcool if you come across my thread, I'd just like to thank you for providing top quality seeds. All 10 of my querkles sprouted and took which is a first for me. 2 of my LSD seeds actually germed out of 10, the rest were not viable. the 3 PC seeds i germed (finally gave in to some fem seeds on this one) all were successfully transplanted and took immediately. So I dont know what the deal is with barney's farm but once again I really appreciate your decades of hard work to create top genetics. I can't wait to give Qrazy Train, Jilly Bean, Qleaner, and Vortex a try. Will be picking up some Qrazy Train shortly. Also do you ever think you'll produce some type of AK-47 hybrid? If I could get my hands on a great AK cut I'd love to bread Querkle with AK, or I would love to cross White Russian and Querkle. I know youre a busy man and I won't take it personal if you don't respond.

Take it easy all I'm off to smoke some home made GDP pressed hash and get a little netflix goin.
Plus my boy is look ready for bed

haha thanks pal, and I am definitely ready for some dank ass nugs. Thats why I am trying to follow subcools growing style as closely as possible. I read the entire Querkle Breeding thread and need to learn some good topping techniques, I'm a noob when it comes to topping. Pointers anyone?
