First timer!...Hail the CFL!!!

Pretty excited about this first grow! Would love some feedback! I am very surprised so far on the amount of knowledge and common sense that these lil baby girls require. Here's what I got..

--(2) 100w CFL w/ aluminum reflectors (AWEWSOME) (1) 18' flouro tube i had layin around that i used for the seedlings. 24/7

--MG moisture control...I've had issues but overall great results so far i think

--PH is 6.5ish...lil low?

--Bag seeds...pretty sure they are a skunk strain and def. Indica

4 1/2 weeks and 5 1/2 weeks. I'd love 2 share my progress.

if your in mg soil dont add any nutes or they will die . but they look good for being under cfls

Hey, nice plants man deffinately a lot of bud sites there. Ive got two 100 watt cfl's aswell. Are ure ones those huge motherfuckers that screw into an hps/MH fitting? They are so sick

no, i just have the spiral ones. cheap, great investment. I need 2 get some sort of hps in there for flowering but they are really expensive. when i do get an hps, should i continue with the cfls as well during flowering?

For bagseed, miracle grow and cfl's it looks pretty good. When I started reading your post i was saying Strike one, strike two, strike three etc... then I saw the pictures. Looks good so far

Yeah those are definitely pretty ladies and I would have have to agree that those are indica dominent. Out of curiosity where did you find(or make) your aluminum reflectors? Nice grow though, anything for the odor when flowering starts?

Thanks for the compliments. I bought the reflectors from home depot. they are the clamp-on lights. i think u can also get them at pet and/or fish stores, 2. they are the kind that u put on top of aquariums. they come in different sizes. i grabbed the 10.5" size...biggest ones i found and it was like 11 bucks. i am convinced that these are a huge reason for such rapid growth. i think it says it increases lumens by 50%. heres a pic so u can c what they look like.

oh, and i dont yet have anything for odor, but i have a feeling that soon, i wont have a choice but to get somethin for that...any reccomendations?

im using a bathroom fan thats connected to a home made filter i made out of some screen and activated carbon i bought at walmart. Carbon filters are definity the best way to go.
