FL med card question

Jacksonville resident here. Looking to legalize my self medication. I may or may not have an anxiety disorder, never been to or felt like I needed a psychiatrist for it but certain social situations do give me the freaking willies. Anyway, I've called a few prescribing docs around here and they all require another doc to make a diagnosis, or at least that's my impression. I was hoping I could make an appointment, say "yeah I have anxiety" and boom there it is but it seems that is not the case.

Does anyone know of a one stop shop? Or the best way to go about getting my medical card if I dont have an existing diagnosis?

Thats the way it was when we first went legal, Now walk into a shop pay 50 bucks an walk out with meds. Now that we have legal rec most dont bother with a card unless dealing with a caregiver.

I got my card at a dr in my town who specializes in mmj but I think depression/anxiety isn’t on the list of qualifying conditions , unless I am mistaken man… but ptsd is and other conditions are being added as time goes on

Hell no it’s not I wish brother, I’m in NW FL and they treat bud like crack here still except mmj with proper labels on it etc
It's like that in a lot of places. I got popped back in the day. The arresting officer was gonna give me 5 charges. I heard the super talking to him when I was in the car and I heard him say "you're being an asshole about this, one charge is enough." Now with that on my record I have to be so so careful. At home only, no driving with it, pay extra for delivery, and of course the consistancy of the whole process is garbage too. End rant haha.

Maybe the anxiety of getting busted is enough to get the card lol

Pretty sure there is a few online places to get your card in FL like veriheal.com as well maybe see if you qualify but not sure if they want medical records first to prove your diagnosis I think they’d probably want some proof but I could be wrong

I was in multiple accidents so I have many broken bones and plates and screws so I have proof I can show physically and on paper so when I got mine here in 2017-18 first time it was easy but I know as time goes on they are getting a bit more lenient on what conditions they accept to give a card out as well

and if they turn you down maybe get a diagnosis on paper first and then try again later on with documentation

Went to a Doc listed under Certified Marijuana Doctors. Doc Vice, in my case has been very good and well worth it. A record from a Primary Care Physician that states the meds they prescribe do no good for your debilitating condition is needed. A diagnosis from other Doctors and MRI's all help. Mine is chronic pain that sports the whole script. Real meds like live rosin and buds with profiles really help. I so very feel not all people are able to get meds but really need them. All we can do is contribute to the Doctors for help.⚕
