Considering they are likely to double in size, flip them!

They also commonly triple in size, depending on the strain.
If you flip them as is, you stand the chance of running out of headroom. They get huge in flower!
What I would do is top them. Let them recover for a week, then flip to flower. Doing that will not only make your plants shorter, and more manageable, but you would also be turning one top cola into two. Read up on topping. It's very simple, and you really can't mess it up. Topping if pretty standard when growing inside, so you wouldn't be doing anything that all the experienced growers do. It can be a little frightening, because you're chopping a big part of your plants in half, but trust me, your plants will be absolutely fine. They'll just stop growing for a few days while it recovers.

There white widow the wont double on size if I top them? I just stopped the main top? Is that all that is needed?

Yeah, WW is on the lower end of stretching. That's what I'm growing right now. I topped the main when there were 6 pair of nodes. Then, I topped a second time a week or so later.
Doing a single top is fine, but in the future you'll see the advantages of doing multiple tops. One of he reasons one would top their plants is if they've gotten too large, and you need to control the height, because they may get too large for your space.
I'm early in my second week of flower
So I topped once and I cut the older fan leaves of plant and there is more room. Humidity dropped a ton. I now know my next grow will be from growing from seed im not cloning these plants.Next time I would like to flower at the right time so I wont have to top or cut anything. I want to see how they come out naturally first. How much height will this decrease the plant? And can I throw them into flower in 4 days? I topped and defoailted.

It's not about "having" to top them, it's about a method of growing that makes the most out of the limited power of indoor lights. Depending on the power, the real effective light will only go about 10" or 12" deep into the canopy top. If you have a single top, that height determines the closest your lights can get to the lower tops. You'll see all the colas growing in the lower branches, but they just won't be as close to the light, and inches matter.
When growing outdoors, they naturally grow like Christmas trees. The sun's light has travelled 93 million miles, and can easily flood the entire plant with even light. When growing indoors, you want to grow your plants like upside down Christmas trees, where the canopy top is very flat and level, so that you get as many tops as possible, as close to the light they can all get. Many smaller tops will easily yield more than a single top.
You'll see. It'll just make sense after you've grown a bit.

They double or triple in size, in all directions. Think of how a bush grows larger in all directions. I've got mine in a net, and spread out.
It is absolutely okay for leaves to touch each other, and it's usually unavoidable in inside grows. What you want to watch for are fans sitting directly on top of each other. Condensation builds between them, and can cause mold or mildew. Each day, go through your leaves and uncover leaves and let the condensation dry. Being a new grower, you really shouldn't be trimming. You're causing more harm than good, trimming leaves without experience, and there was no need to trim away leaves that were touching.
Less hands-on. Let them do their thing. Read about growing, training, trimming, etc. Go here...

Just look up a picture on the internet as to how they grow natural. You will be much happier to top and get 8 really good colas then one main one and a bunch of shitty ones with no topping. Trust me one main cola, the top cola was light burned just to get any decent yield out of the mid to bottom. You'll look back on it in another few grows and you will regret that you didn't, trust the man.
Yeah in going to let them veg for a week see what they look like. Flowering time is 65 days for this these plants. Looks bare but I could see where new growth is growing, didnt mess with those. I got some Purple Haze on the way, and I'll get another strain. My next grow I'll be prepared to clone for sure.
So when the first flowers start to show, is that when it stops growing in height? If so how long after switching from 12/12 before the flowers start appearing?

I remeasured my plants and the left one is 22inches right one is 23 inches which is weird it was always the slow grower. Rught is a bit fatter, when I topped her, I took two fan leaves of aswell that were next to where I topped to make it even with the other plant. The top of the right plant looks fuller. So I'm thinking about flipping to flower when lefty get 23 3/4 inches just below 24 inches. I understand the method of topping. You can do this and veg alot longer if you keep doing it, I wait till the 15 inches for the first topping. First pic is first day I topped

Stretching lasts for a couple weeks. Unless you're doing a SCROG, you want to flip them when they around 16". Flowers start forming a few weeks in. Don't try letting your plants try to get the same height, because even the same strains can end up growing a little different from each other. Instead, use topping, and supercropping to achieve a level canopy.

IME most plants we are looking to keep restricted in height need to be flowered at around 9” high if no training is being done. Then the plant will finish around 2-2.5ft tall.
similar if you’re training. Complete the training you want to do and flip before they reach 12” in height and you should end up with a plant that is under 3ft tall.
but don’t forget during the first few weeks of 12/12 you can LST super crop or even FIM your plants to help ease the burden of vertical growth.

If you have control over your lights cct you can also keep the cct higher during the first few weeks of stretch to limit stretch. I would tend to go more with a 16-20" height for an indicator of when to flip when topping, mainlining or 4 way lst otherwise your yields will hurt. If you don't have the ht or want to do a higher plant count go with 9" high at flip.

Hope you don't mind me chiming in here. Plants looks great and the tent looks great. That said I'd find something other than the books and cardboard boxes you are using for risers. Paper based products in a damp environment are a prime breeding ground for mold and other critters that could harm your kids. Continued success with the grow.

But it's important for noobs to know that anything trimmed will not grow back. So, no topping during flower.

Yes I agree topping is the most stressful especially during flowering so it’s not recommend which is why it wasn’t in my list of things you CAN do during first few weeks of 12/12.
