So I flipped to 12/12 because of height concerns (hoping the second one gives some height perspective). The Nitro had a bit of root rot and fungus gnats so I hit the soil with a 1:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and RO water and covered loosely with foil to contain the gnats while the larvae start dying off. The sour OG is doing perfect and no gnats in her soil so I'm considering getting rid of the nitro and just giving her full domain in the tent. ??? I'm getting my temp and humidity perfect for now so that's good. I'm just wondering when to start giving flowering nutrients. Would you say the first signs of bud are now that the tops are starting to yellow where the buds are going to be or should I wait until I see an actual cluster of flower starting to form? I suspect they are both female looking at the internodal sites but I'll post a good picture of that when I see the actual pre-flowers.
 
Your nutrient manufacturer will usually have a schedule to follow, as for when to use flowering nutes vs grow nutes, and how much, etc.

Just go a bit light on the nutrients when you switch. Better to under-do it, as you dial it in, then to over-do it.

Hmm, the only reason I'm wondering is because since I'm using bottled nutes they're immediately available and could burn if the plant isn't using them yet. Do you know if that yellowing is showing that the plant is using up nutients to form budsites in the future?

@BluntMoniker It's the fox farm soil nutes schedule so it's just 4 weeks veg and flip to 12/12 and flower for 8 weeks changing nutes at the flip. What I'm asking is when the plant actually starts using those nutrients. Is it immediately because I would feel comfortable using them if that's what the yellowing at the bud sites is about. If they aren't being used until actual flower formation though I'll hold off on flower nutes.
