Flower Cloning To Increase Yield

Ok,

Simple question:

Will cloning lower branches/non light receiving branches during flowering increase overall yield?

Methodology:
Cut all branches with underdeveloped buds and place said buds in a pot and sea of green them.

Will it work?
 
The real question is: Do flowering clones root in a sufficient time span to hit the main harvest? Or will the rooting period make them much later, making it probably better to just regen
 
And could you keep a perpetual harvest going by doing this? Just cloning a couple lower branches from a plant during the flowering cycle, then harvesting when that plant is ready?
 
I'm only a noob here but if you air layer early enough id think you be able to al least has a decent root structure to build upon. just my .02 :bigjoint:

Not sure if labor would pay off. Worth an experiment :)
