Flowering box questions?

Hey guys I'm vegging my plants right now so I'm not too concerned with light leaking in but I have been looking around and trying to decide the best small, slightly stealthy grow box ideas. I saw a guy who made a pc grow box and i liked the design, except he put a sheet of plexiglass right under his lights so his plants could grow close to the lights without being burned. Could the plexiglass filter out some good light and keep some light from hitting the plants? I am probably going to end up having to do a pc grow box sadly . My main questions are could the plexiglass block some of the light? And also does anyone have any suggestions for an cheap flowering box? Thanks in advance!

I would imagine that anything between the plant and the CFL's would filter out some of the light. Even though transparent putting the already low intensity CFL's behind plexi glass seams silly to me... But you say you saw it done somewhere, so give her a shot. Personally I wouldn't go that route..

Buy a tent mate, not to expensive and a pukka self contained purpose built light proof grow room, here in the U.K. They're about £140. Well worth the dough mate. Good luck and good growing bro.

A tent would be kinda obvious haha. It would not be practical in my situation. I need to be kinda stealty with this one. And I'm on a budget and I don't know how to translate that to American $ but it seems way to expensive haha. Yeah the guy who did that claimed to get 2 oz from 2 plants with only 4 20 something watt cfl's. I question that but even if I got a half ounce I would shit my pants! That's a lot to me haha. well I'm going to give it a shot, probably without the plexiglass though.just some lst. I'll be picking up the pc on Monday and I'll post pics when I get it done!
