What I would like to do is grow my plants about 6" then start flowering then, can I do this?

the reason is I have limited space, unless I go through a painstaking process of raising this desk... but I dont want to grow the plant that tall anyways.

I currently have 2 cfls available, but I am getting more soon.

I will also be flowering with cfls. there is absoulutely no chance of me getting something better. the cfls will have coke can reflectors though and that will help a lot.

Yes you should be fine. Techincally you can flower whenever you want to!! Coke can reflectors work well with CFLs as well. If you have more then 1 plant, then make sure to get at least 2 CFLs per plant. Good luck!!

How Much Of A Yield Will You Get From A 6" Plant I Know It Probably Varies From Strain To Strain And What Not Just Want An Estimate?

thanks a lot, im pretty sure my plants are doing well, im color blind so its sometimes hard for me to tell what looks healthy and not -_-. I eailsy confuse green and brown. But they came up in under 8 hours 1/2" out of the soil with its first set of leafs, and its now day 3 and they are about 3" high and its first real set of leafs are a few cm long. they look pretty bright green to me.

I am keeping the cfl above it about 1 1/2" should I move it farther or closer? heat is no issue, but I dont want to burn the plant. theres a single cfl but it covers over both plants completely, I wouldnt be able to get another over it at this time.

Im really not sure what strain it is, they are bagseeds, but I had some pretty good seeds germinating and also some shitty seeds, I dont remember which was which I just planted a few o_0

I now have 2 cfls over the plants, it was a squeeze, but I had to put one cfl without a reflector right over it, about an inch and a half, and the other cfl with the reflector is about 3" away on the side pointing at the plants. there second set of leaves are about 5cm now.

Also when I go to look at the plants is it bad to move them out from under the light? Should I just look at them while theyre under the light? Will an 8" deep pot about 4" wide be big enough for 1 plant thats flowered at a height of 6"? or will I have to move to something bigger at some point?
