Flowering help a brotha out

I am also into my 5th day flower there is growth on the nodes but no sign of sex gash i can't wait ! but i also had a quick question what happens if light is somehow hiting some sort of the plant while it is in its dark 12 hour period. O yea when do you think the pre flowers will come out i veg it for about a month and there where tiny leafs at the node sites wen i started the 12/12 its in soil indoors and its mids!

nah bruv in 12/12 u need to make sure its total un interupted darkness 4 12 hours.
and in the next week or so they will show up

Preflowers can appear when you arent in flowering, between 8-12 weeks usually, they help determine sex. What you are looking for now are actual flowers.

My nodes are throwing me for a loop,here I am waiting for the plant to show its sex and looking for the balls or the pistols with the hair and the only growth on the nodes i see are these littel leafs some bigger than the others. Is this normal? Is it a sex characeristic? any input would grealy be aprecated
