Flowering & Light Question (PIC's)

Hello,

I have read and re-read the different post on lighting in ref to how many lumes & watts ect.. per sq ft per plant, but I'm just not getting it, please help....

My closet is 5.5 ft high X 2.5 ft deep X 4 ft wide, is my light sufficient to veg and clone? Also what enhancements or improvements to the lighting are needed to flower my plants.

Again I am new to indoor growing, a friend gave me a couple of plants, a month ago. When I received the plants not knowing I immediately put them on 24 hrs with an 85 watt CFL, last week I changed the light to 18/6 now I'm afraid they might be starting to flower, (please see pictures) Are the starting to flower?

The plants are now 2 & 3 ft tall. Should I top or trim them? I will be cloning next month in preparation for my outdoor grow to start the second week of April.

with a box that big i would say you need a 400 hps you might be able to get away with a 250

Would 2-- 85 watt CFLs work as well, I would like to stay with CFLs if possible .
