im doing my first grow, and i have two plants that I'm about to start 12/12 cycle on, and I used miracle grow, I was wondering what I should do as far as nutes. i havnt givin my plants any extra nutes other than what miracle grow gives in the soil, and theyve grown amazing and look great 6-8 leaves turned brown and i cut them off, I just don't know what to do for flowering stages, i have both veg nutes and flowering nutes - also miracle grow...

thoughts ?? :blsmoke:

sounds cool, try to refrian from miracle grow, i havent had the best of luck with it but you sound like you got it going alright, use Promix next time, quit using the veg nutrients and water your plant to sorta fush out the rest of the veg nutrients then switch the light cycle to 12/12 this migh cause a little stress on the plant which may make it droop but it will come back up, after its got its spring back slowly introduce the flowering nutrient

so i shouldn't leave it in miracle grow during flowering stage? the miracle grow potting soil only has food for the first 3 months of growth, then it runs out, which is about now.

do you think i could get away with leaving it and adding bloom nutes.

Welcome Manley

You can leave it in the same soil.

I like the MG moisture control.

Use the nutes with care. Less is best.

I use the small scoop end of the scooper that comes with the MG with a gallon for my clones and mother plant that are in flower now.

You should think about transplanting into bigger pots if you have not.

In the 12/12 you will need total darkness for the dark 12 hrs.

You should see sex signs within a week or two of changing to 12/12 if you have the affore mentioned total darkness.

Happy growing
