Flowering questions

Yo, I've got a few questions if anyone would like to answer them for me. So I just put my plants into flowering and changed the lights (i'm doing it the cheap way (CFL's) till i make $$ to invest in a hydro setup) my question is -- they have pre flowers and i've only been able to determine one female so far. However they other one has preflowers too and they look the same with out the white hairs. Also, the females flowers looked the same way before the hairs appeared, I just wanted to know if it's a male or female or both. Also, they've been in flower for a week and have stretched over a foot in height which i assume is normal but my question is how long till the buds actually appear?? I know I sound silly but please help. thanks

Where I'm from a splif is like 10-20% bud and the rest tobacco rolled into a cigarette. And just wait if in two weeks you aren't 100% happier with your plant in flowering, something may need to be adjusted.

not sure it's been a couple of years since ive been there.... it's downtown a few blocks from the library those were my stompin grounds back in the day

I thought the American Yanks were trying to break the UK blokes of Spilfs. First time I had one (and I was young and new to the world of green) I thought I was getting ripped off!!! woops.
My first gown will be going into flowering this week, Knocking on woods that they are my little girls!
