Flowering soon... Should i prune my 20" plant?

My plant is 20" tall and growing outdoors. It has rampant branching... I will be flowering in about a month... Is trimming/pruning wise? Should i top it? Might this help my overall yeild? Plz help... first sucessful outdoor grow.

Hmm what kind of outdoor grow is it? explain your grow in more detail please and pics would help as well. does it get alot of shade or direct sun? these kind of things are need to knows on a hill side, flat land, in a dirt bowl?

A month is enough time to recover from almost anything you could do to it. Experiment and see what works for you so you can carry on that knowledge to successive grows.

phyzix is right. experimenting is one of the best ways to predict what you should do in future grows.

it gets about 6 hr of direct light... Mabe from 10am to 5pm. It is one plant, camoflaged by plants slightly shorter than it is. also... it is quite hot and humid here... 95 w/ 50-70% humidity
