fluorescent growing

When growing with fluorescent light, do lights remain on 24/7?

if you want they can.. I usually veg at 20-4

I feel like plants like to sleep.. even if it's only for 2-4 hours a day. it won't hurt them to have 24 hour light, but the only time dark is really important is when you want to bloom.

^Exactly, anything between 18/6 and 24/0 will work, with similar results. Although argued alot, I've never seen any clear proof of any being the best choice. I use 18/6, with excellent results.
