Ok I plan on getting on a weekly foliar feeding schedule with my plants.I was just wondering what part of the day is best to do it.Dawn, dusk, afternoon??
Anybody got a clue about this??

i would guess dusk, so the leaves would have a chance to absorb the water/whatever you're feeding them and not evaporate or dry out too fast cuz of the sun....
maybe dawn could work too

Dusk or dawn. Doesn't really matter just not when the sun's rays are beating down because the water on the leaves would act like a magnifing glass and burn your leaves.

they say foliar feed in early morning(5am-9am) or evening(5pm-8pm) is best. They say the ideal temperature is 72 degrees 2 foliage feed so which ever one(morning or night) is the closest 2 that temp i would go with.Good luck.

Dusk would probably be the easiest for me and closest in temp since it's still summer.I was kinda worried about doin it in the morn because of the sun burning my plants. Also doing it at night might help cool em off especially if it's been hot.I just wasn't sure which one to go with.On my first grow here so all the help is much appreciated.Thanx guys

Morning/lights ON is prefferred, IMO. If you live in a humid climate and spray at dusk you may be promoting mold and fungus growth.

good luck

It's pretty humid here at times, especially in July and August.I'm growing outside by the way so the light on thing would mean anytime during the day.

hey nickled If there out side and you don't mind getting up really early do your foliar feed when they still have dew on them, this way it's more natural to the plant.my plants are covered in dew every morning and they just suck it up real fast as the sun hits them..good luck bro!

That's a good idea....sun rises here at around 5am.Not a morning person but it's only once a week and worth a shot.

I'll add my two cents worth for the mornings over the evenings depending on where you are living. After much reading in organics and practices, molds and mildew do best on wet plants at night with temps of 70 or more. Spraying in the morning has been my best time when I tried the differences on garden veggies. Good luck

It's usually in the 50's in the morning over here...I was going with the morning spray.Makes more since that's when the plants are 1st waking up and there's already dew on em.Thanx 4 the input
