I actually did start a new one in an aero setup that I built from the ground up. I'm super excited to see how that turns out. She just popped up
I'm not giving up on this plant though. If nothing else i've learned a lot and even though it seems like every move i make is a mistake i'm gonna keep trying.
Speaking of mistakes, the foliar spray has caused a whole new type of problem i've never seen before. It's a slightly grayish spot on some of the leaves. I sprayed with pure water after a few days and it seems to have solved the problem.
I think most of my problems so far have been not feeding aggressively enough after the early nute burn so i'm making up a 1200 ppm containing roughly equal parks P, K, and Cal-Mag which i'm going to give today. Its been brewing for over 2 days with 2 airstones so it should either burn the shit out of her or be really helpful.
Edit: I just noticed that there was a super concentrated sludge at the bottom and I chickened out and poured that down the drain after feeding the water to the plant… I'm not sure why but I think if after a few days it is no longer in solution it is probably too much? Would you say that is a decent benchmark for nutrient giving?
Thanks for all your support throughout this surprisingly difficult process.
