Ok I have been talking to the medical marijuana protesters in my area. Sence its still a criminal act here what if I supply these people? I feel obligated to do so one guy I met could barley walk it was sad it hurt me.

I guess what im saying if so happen I joined this group and started a grow dedicated for them(sence they have offered funds to help). Agian remember im not making any profit off this just taking care of the plants and these sick people.

I know I am going to prison for it but it seems making 200 sick people happy for even 1 year and spending 1 year prison, for them 1 year painless seems worth it. Agian im willing to go to jail for this I just need to know if my charges would be lightened or if would even help the cause if they stood behind me at the court date.

Im just tired of hiding it I guess and ready to accept the fact jail is where I will be for helping people. I was gonna make it public when I give these people the shit to I want to be arrested and I "Want" them to call me a criminal in front of sick people and give me maximum charges. I will ask for them. Does this make me cazy or careing?

Wow boooky,

I admire your conviction and that you are willing to do something risky to help others, but I'd like you to think about something first. You say that it would be worth it to help these people live with less pain for for even one year, but you state that you want to make a public stand in which you will be making a statement for the use of medical marijuana. So, which goal is more important to you? Helping people or making a political statement?

Here is the deal in my humble opinion. If you make this bold public statement, you will likely be convicted and put away. Probably the only people that will know and care about your sacrifice are your family, friends and the patients who will now be back in pain.

If you really want to make a difference, learn how to grow and supply these people with their medicine in a safe and reliable way. Don't get yourself thrown in jail needlessly. Better yet, if you have expertise in growing, share that information with these patients and others here on RIU so that they and others like them can learn to help themselves!

There are places in the U.S. where you can become a legal caretaker and use your horticultural knowledge to help patients LEGALLY! If you are willing to throw away years of your life to help others, then DO IT RIGHT! Move to CA or OR or some other place that will allow you to pursue your passion.

Have you checked out NORML. It is the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Check out their website. If you are interested in helping out with the effort to enact more reasonable and logical regulations governing the use of marijuana, then become active with that organization. There are plenty of ways you can become active!

I can tell that you are passionate about this cause. Use that passion and make a lasting difference. Getting yourself put in jail will really not help you, it will not help those patients and it will not help the cause.

I hope you think about this...

There is a guy here in prison for 96 years for medical marijuana.......Im just not seeing how me doing what im doing now where im at wont land me the same punishment.

Just me growing myself where im at they think 90 years is justified so why not get 90 years helping other people other then just my self? I mean if it doesnt change with in the next few years its only a matter of time before it gets worse and start raiding people for electric bills. We will all see jail time if we continue in todays world if we continue to grow pot. Why not just make a stand and do it help the people reguardless weather I be locked up 1 year or 5 years ill be out and give them that 1 day or even 10 years pain free if me being behind bars is what it takes to make many more lives painless why be selfish?

The way I see it its 3 free meals a day im not a terminally ill person I can live in these conditions why not take the bullet? Maybe if we all thought like this it would change who knows. I have spoken to NORML the guy in the wheelchair (Eric) was from there. He only asked me if I knew where he could get help because the guy caring for him got areasted last june. He noticed big pot plant portrait on my arm and asked me what it stood for.I just told him I like to get high and it went on from their lol.

These are real sick people though not some hippie bullshitting the system for a access card and its fucked up and ill ramble about it tell somthing is done at my house or in jail.

yeah I see where you 're coming from but getting jailed is not gonna be helping the sick people like someone already said, don't you think that stealth should be used so that you can stick around and help these people and when/if you are caught one day you can get the national papers involved and kick up a fuss then otherwise you ain't doing anyone any good sitting in a jail cell, that said, I salute you for your convictions and the world would be a better place if everyone was as compassionate as you. Peace:hump:.
