Found success on first try cloning

Pretty happy took 5 cuts to practice with....2 out of 5 I think will make it...this one is poppin roots

Should I hurry to plant this or can it hang for a day or two while I get some more soil and let the other that looks good try and throw some roots?

It can hang out, just make sure to keep it from fully drying out. Once they start drinking those plugs don't stay moist long.
