i have used all foxfarm products. their grow big is a great veg base nutrient. their bloom additives are really strong and give great results.i am not that impressed with the bush doctor line though.

Yeah I use them right now all 6 with FFOF soil. I love them very user friendly and newb frendly. I would suggest them to anyone starting out, FF soil and their nutes are good. Right now I am looking at switching to AN line to test it out. Sorry bro I'm bongsmilie:eyesmoke:

FF is probably the most bang for your buck.

but i only think this because its probably the cheapest nutrient line up.

yeah it works good. and the granules are VERY potent.

i firmly believe that the more expensive lines of nutrients give better results.

i usually describe Fox Farm nutrients to people with a very blunt statement. low yield

BUT.... on the other hand, i also believe if you can master one nutrient line then use what you know. i think if you've mastered FF, then you will grow better with it than with something you do not know.

So I am not understanding the solubles vs. the liquids. Do you use both as per the FF feeding schedule? Do you use the liquids on hydroponics only? The solubles are the granules like regular fertlizer so I would think thats for soil growers. Please help.

I was debating on what to get i am using FF ocean forest soil any advice?
i use fox farm ocean forest soil but for nutes i use flora nova with great results, i like to keep it simple so i veg with no nutes at all, just let the FFoF do all the work, but as soon as i go into flower i use floranova bloom and a 1/4 teaspoon of koolbloom powder per gallon, i follow the flora nova schedule as suggested and use the koolbloom every other water and every water in late flower....never had nute burn and big yield...

Indoors i prefer liquid feeding. Itsva little easier and i can control the amounts better. Once i transplant Outdoors i like to use powder based because when the rain comes, the powder doesnt wash away as easily.

As for FF vs othrr brands... I havent done a side by side comparison but l honestly cant tell the difference. When i firstvstarted growing i would only use the best, now i use whatever i have on hand. Fox Farm, kellogg, super soil, MG, etc etc, all work just about the same. I worry more about bugs then anything else.

Yeah, I don't think there is a secret recipe for nutrients that can't be emulated by other companies; sort of like hair conditioner. Most of the hype you see is stoned and or stupid growers swearing by whatever they use because they had good results at some point and attributed that exclusively to the nutrients and ignored other factors. Some people just like to get the expensive product that is marketed to them; it's often simply about how the product is presented to them. Perhaps there are a lot of differences that I haven't seen, but no matter what, when you market products to stoners flashy packaging and silly claims seem to a very effective tool.
