Fox farm nutrients question

Hey all

I'm planning an 'easy' grow using the fox farm system. I'm looking at the feeding schedule and am a bit confused.

there are three products on the left, 'big grow', 'tiger bloom' and 'big bloom'.
they are under the 'liquids/concentrates' section.

on the right there is 'open sesame', 'beastie bloomz', 'cha ching', they are listed as 'solubles'.

now...am I to assume that there are two different sections, liquids/concentrates, or solubles? are are you supposed to use all six of these products together?

If they are two separate nutrition plans, does anyone have an opinion on which to use (liquids or solubles)?

Fox Farm Big Bloom, with Dr. Hornbey BIG BUD, Pirahana all together in one mixture. Works Great for Flowering.

You can use all at once. The liquids come as a liquid and the solubles you have to mix up.

The Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom are considered the base and the solubles are to "supercharge" your grow, lol. I only use the liquids with excellent results. Never tried to take my grow to the "next level".

Does anyone know if i should mix dolimite lime and perlite to Fox Farm Ocean
Forest or if I would be better off just leaving it alone they way it is? I also would like to mix bone meal and peat moss to mix through. I need to know if this is a good ideal or if it is bad for the plants

^^ocean forest has everything u want and some (larva) u dont want, dont add any thing to it ,it will feed for tha first week or two before u have to add more nutes.do a search for foxfarm and read some of the post,iv found that its a lot hotter than it used to be due to the guy who makes it adding more ferts to make up for less soil there is

My local Hydro shop recomend that I cut (buff out) the Fox Farm Ocean Forest with 1/3rd Readygro Soilless Aeration Formula, which is packed full of exactly what it needed. You'll water more but the roots get the air they need to drink up all those nutes... Put some big holes in your pots and stand back.... Mine went from seeds to 14x14 bushy inches in six weeks. You will water more, I used only distilled from birth to grave... Super nice

what is hydrogro soilless aeration formula? Do u know what it mainly consisted of. cause i think the soil (fox)needs more perlite and prob a little bit of lime. I took the PH reading and it was around 7. I think that is a little high. IF anyone knows whether or not Garden lime would be good to add to fox farm ocean please let me know

the only thing you want to mix in with ocean forest is some perilite for super drainage.......other than that stay away from the lime and bone meal for now....the ocean forest keeps a good ph on its own..you dont want to ad anything to throw it off..and 7 is a good ph to be at for soil...:joint:

Oops.. sorry the product is acutally ReadyGro it's a soiless orgaqnic-based media. Ingredients 3/4 double-sieved coir fiber, Perlite, earthworm castings, compost, seaweed extract, seaweed meal and leonardite ore.. like I mentioned a 2/3rds O.F. to 1/3 was perfect for my grow. I've found that in larger containers the straight ocean forest tends to get alittle muddy at the bottoms... I killed 3 mails after 4 weeks, my 3.5 gal container were solid roots to the bottom.. I am very pleased with the performance and almost impossible to overwater... Best luck to ya...

Hello- although I am by no means an expert I am a fan of Fox Farm and everything they make. I run a 70/30 Mix of Ocean Forrest and Light Warrior. Light Warrior is somewhat similar to the ReadyGro but it is made by Fox Farm if you want to keep it in the family. If you use that mix with some GrowBig and BigBloom you should be on your way to some nice organics in no time. Combine that with RO/DI from the start and some love and you will be happy!

dolomite lime adds calcium & magnesium to your soil. If you need to raise the pH you can add dolomite lime & it'll balance out around pH 7. If you need to lower the pH you can use aluminum sulphate. I like to keep my soil around 6.8.

I have never used any fox farm soils. I do use Big Bloom, Grow Big & Tiger Bloom. It does the job.:weed:

I am using it for the whole cycle. I germinate in a small greenhouse type container with light warrior and a small bit of OF to stick it together. Once my babies are about an inch tall and have a small root system I carefully transplant them into their 1.5 gal containers with the mix I had previously stated 70/30 OF/LW. I keep them small and short due to the Ryder genes and my canopy screen and they seem to like the Fox Farm. :joint:

honestly i am pretty new too, and I have been confused with foxfarm from the get. Not only do they suggest ubserd quantatiesto use for their products, when I used 1/4 of some products I still experienced burn.
