fox farm soil problems

ive been using FF for the last few months n i keep finding these black corn size seeds that grow to a vine like plants...i thought FF was suppose to be sterile...has ne one else experienced this problem...the bags were brand new fresh from the distributors

FF soil can't be sterile due to the microbes that are supposed to be there. Any of the organics that are reported to be there wouldn't survive a sterilizing. I'm currently using FF Happy Frog with no issues. But, I've read of people having issues with FF in relation to bugs. I would suppose any soil company that gets any ingredient from someone other than themselves has given up some amount of quality control.
