Freezer+Sprite=Purple Colored Bud?

I bought some ridiculously purple purple the other day. The guy called it midnight purple. I smoked some with a friend and he said that it probably was fake purple, and it was so purple that I kinda believe him. He's a pothead himself and he said if you spray bud with sprite and then freeze it it will turn purple but it will look fake because it's so purple. What do you think?:weed:

ive never heard of it. i would like to think that you would taste the corn syrup burning from the sprite. did it taste like butt?
 
F**k purple. It's shitty weed. Just because it's the new fad doesn't mean that it's worth a shit. Don't buy purple weed and then you'll never be scammed.
 
harsh is how the burning sugars would taste. that doesnt sew it up, but its sounding possible it was sprayed.

I didn't exactly get scammed I mean it was still most definitely smokable it just wasn't dank.
 
wow! purps are only popular due to their ridiculously high resin content. I, personally, prefer to smoke a variety, but purple sells. Just cause its uber purple, doesnt mean its fake and doesnt mean its uber strong
 
i dont believe that purple sells because of the resin content. it sells because lil wayne and 50 cent talk about it all the time. and because it doesnt look like other weed. i find it hard to believe that the average weed consumer knows shit about resin content, but most arent color-blind.

purp is still a gay fad...my green herb smokes it(pun intended) any day.
 
was it this dark? this is 100% real and organic . also all you purple haters true purples like california strains like i grow here in the beautiful goldenstate are derived from kush GET IT .originating from ...............................afghanistan holy shit. the only neg to purple is the plants usually dont produce as much but i pulled 2 zips off of this one. ask anyone from pot mecca (norcal) theyll tell you real purple is good shit... anyone who thinks its gay go to oakland and tell the guy on the corner hes selling gay shit and then count the bullets...

Honestly though, a nice green, heavily crystalized bud looks MUCH better than that. Props to ya, but purple hasn't impressed me at all - in smoke or appearance.
 
this is one of 5 strains i got ak 47 bubbleberry whitewidow hinduskunk and this is granddaddy the only one better than the grandaddy is the bubbleberry but........................different strokes for different folks

i never said real purple isnt good herb, it can be. i think people getting all juicy over weed just because its purple is whats gay.

and i think people tyring to make weed look purple for marketability is just plain lying.
