typically if you turn it often they'll disappear in about 3 weeks, but its all predicated on temps, soil, etc.How long do fresh cuttings take to decompose in your soil bins?
I topped my girls and decided to toss it on top of my living soil bin.

Do I need to worry about PM?
Oh and thanks to all the folks that helped me with the ACT brewer last week.
if the same thing applies as to tree leaves, it's more advantageous to use the leaves when they are fresh, apparently their nutritional content is better when composted fresh.I figure since I am organic now, I don't need to find creative ways to dispose of things. Just shred and put in the bin.
Is it better to let the leaves dry so they can crumble or put them in right after trimming?
Is there a special trick for roots or stems to get them to decompose faster?
sounds about right, when I make my compost pile I usually only see them for the first couple 'turns" and I usually turn the pile every two weeks or so, after that they sorta disappearView attachment 3606715
Almost 4 weeks later. So trimmings will take 2 months to break down probably.
If you buried them they'd be gone in 2-3 weeks max, you want bacteria breaking fresh leaves down, bacteria prefer fresh material under the surface, fungi, dryer, tougher materials on topView attachment 3606715

I wanted to watch it. Next time for sure I will mix it in.If you buried them they'd be gone in 2-3 weeks max, you want bacteria breaking fresh leaves down, bacteria prefer fresh material under the surface, fungi, dryer, tougher materials on top

I throw a handful of green cannabis leaves in with my recycling mix every time. It takes less than a month for them to disappear completely but I also add a lot of fresh EWC at the same time along with various dry amendments. How long do fresh cuttings take to decompose in your soil bins?

That looks like left-overs from a bubble hash run, is that right?typically if you turn it often they'll disappear in about 3 weeks, but its all predicated on temps, soil, etc.
I use trim as the nitrogen/green inmput in my compost pile, and it's gone quicker than alfalfa meal. Goes real fast.
here's a pic of a bunch in my pile, that bigass brick

Wonder if you could give me a little advice, if you can, I'm taking advantage of this offer:-yes indeedy, I got a buddy that likes to make hash, it's a lot of work... For me personally i'm happy with fresh scissor hash.. nothing better than scissor hash.
But I do like to use the leftovers.. honestly, and it sounds stupid, but the leftover trim gets me more excited than the hash..
I am going to make a big glob of dabs with this harvests trim, these Bodhi plants are resiny
