Now this administration, stupid ass harry reid, and the more fucked up union bastards want to stop Boeing from openning a shop in South Carolina. The reason is that SC is a right to work state and the fucking unions don't own it. If the fucking union gets its way a few thousands jobs lost. The god damn unions are a bunch stupid mofos that want to live like greece. Why don't the stupid mofos share their wealth Billions of dollars the union bosses spend and their stupid ass union worker keeps giving them more.

Maybe Boeing should move to china and say fuck you union bastards.

I almost cannot wait for fedgov.con to run out of other people's money.
Then everyone will see what this is all about. The New world order = equal misery for one and all except for the "uberwise" rulers like Bush, Oboma, Reid, Biden and Pelosi

A bunch of two bit grifters who sold their souls for a seat at the table.

now think about this. nc is a "right to work" state and that makes the union mad. that should say a lot about the boeing union.

and the fed is putting mega pressure on boeing too. obama and the boys dont want them filthy rednecks in carolina to have high paying jobs...

i remember eastern airline. the union pushed, and they folded the entire company cuz they couldnt compete.

boeing will do the same. either fold or go offshore.

boeing manufactures more than 50% of our defense systems. they are paid at 140% of cost, regardless of how much it cost, regardless of what the 'unions' make, or whether or not a project is actually purchased by the government. many projects are scrapped before reaching the testing phase.

boeing isn't going anywhere anytime soon. the reason the government is getting involved is because there are procedures in place for moving such a high-profile, high-money operation from state-to-state.

it is not just creating jobs in south carolina, those jobs were lost elsewhere in the country, and there is so much money involved that it would be irresponsible for the government NOT to get involved.

a "right to work" state means that your boss can just fire you for no reason at anytime, wages are lower, and worker safety and health is endangered..with a union that stuff won't happen

You might need to read up on what really happen with Eastern airlines..it was falling apart before the IAM went on strike in 1989..bad buying decisions with aircrafts...Eastern was paying over $700,000 in interest each day before they sold a ticket, $9.5 Million fine against Eastern Airlines for safety violations, losing money as it faced competition from no frills airlines...all these things played apart in Easterns downfall..add these things with labor unrest and you get a failing company

no i think child molestation is still a felony which if proven, will cost a teacher his/her job, his/her pension, and his/her career.

a teacher cannot molest a child and not be fired. if it can be proven true, the teacher will be thrown in jail and the teacher WILL loose their job.

what doesn't happen is that a student, high on hormones and frustrated by a bad grade, can just say a teacher molested them, and that ends up in immediate termination of the teacher..... the teacher is suspended and there is an investigation into the matter.

;)

you don't have to be in a union to molest a child..ask a priest...WTF..I hope that was not your argument...please show me a child that was molested by a teacher and that teacher was not fired....Teachers have rules that say you cannot have relationships with your students...

As Redivider already said, the jobs going to SC means Washington loses jobs.

Not only that, but the unions were engaged in talks with Boeing for several weeks offering all kinds of deals - including a long term commitment not to strike all the way through 2020(among other concessions) - to get Boeing to expand in Washington instead... Boeing didn't make any counter offers, they didn't make any effort to meet the unions at all on this one.

Right to work states create a race to the bottom. For one state to offer a clear incentive(cheaper labor) for a company to leave another state, doesn't solve anything(all job gains are negated by losses elsewhere), it just serves to create more downward pressure on wages(which btw, nominal wages have barely kept up with inflation - so no, unions aren't asking too much).

The Republicans are now using this dispute as a reason to try and defund the labor relations board, as well as part of a broader attack on labor and unions in general. Sad, really. I dont know about you guys but I grew up supported by a longtime union construction worker. Without the wages that the union fought for - my dad's 60+ hours a week would have yeilded a lot less and our already strapped-for-cash lifestyle (he was a lone breadwinner) would have been much more difficult... And for what? Greater profit margins for some douchebag that doesn't want to pay a fair wage?

mame your dad worked for a union that helped workers, now all the union wants is political power.(open your eyes) Levis, fruit of the loom Gm All moved overseas to keep the unions from bankrupting the companies. 100 million gm plant in mexico, yea for the fucked up unions. could have saved 100 million and had tax revenue if they opened back up the gm plant in ga. Ol no the unions are fucking great, if you don't give us what we want we will strike and put your ass out of business. Damn I glad I live in a right to work state, I never paid some mother fucker to find me a job, I can do that myself. Look at how good the fucking federal unions are the post office needs another 8.5 BILLION dollars to finish the year. look at every state with unions they are all bankrupt. Now some body tell me why the country would not be better off without the unions. I hate my tax dollars support these lazy ass puppets.

^ You need to open your eyes, to think that this is about what the unions want is absurd. It is about paying less money out in wages and making more profit for the shareholders and their dividends. You can bring up the auto workers union, did you know that Honda and Toyota workers are part of the same union the GM workers are in Canada? Honda and Toyota didn't fail, so it looks like it wasn't the unions that crippled them. Explain that.

Listen, union bosses aren't "thugs". They dont merely seek political power for no reason... in fact, unionization(and by extension union political power) has been in decline since the mid 70's - at the same time, real wages for workers has also dropped dramatically. CEO's are payed several times more than they used to be, in real terms, and companies are posting record profit margins. Countries in the Eurozone(excluding the UK which has similar unionization rates as the U.S.), Germany being the best example, dont have this problem of sagging real wages as they've remained unionized at near the same rates throughout this time frame.

But you go ahead and keep on racing to the bottom... Also, blame the unions, that'll fix the problem!

I love it when righties blame the unions for all the nations problems.

The very organizations that built the middle class are now at fault for destroying it as well?

The unions have almost no influence today, hell they are outlawed in wisconsin.
They have been beaten into oblivion. They are the perverbial David

Fear not for David wont harm you
Goliath on the other hand will make you work untill you are old, sick and poor.

The best was when newatit said the unions were hoarding all the money and shoudl share it. I pissed myself laughing, i mean the ignorance......

The top 1% is hoarding all the money. In 2008, while the middle class was getting cut down, they passed a pivotal mark. As of 2008 the top 1% owns 50% of the wealth. Leaving the other 297 million of us to fight over the other 50%

So that means while you were forced to get poor, the top 1% were in a position to get even richer, off the backs of the mass suffering.

Its like Warren Buffet said, "its class warfare and my class is winning, but we shouldn't be"

For the last 30 years we have been leaning right. The masses have been convinced to vote against their own interests over and over again. Maybe we should try something different?

Nah, lets just deregulate everything, make unions illegal nation wide and go even further right. That will grow the middle class for sure.:wall:

"Hey can you help me carry this box?"

"Um no. You will have to speak with my union head"

"Wait for the box carrier guy. He is responsible for carrying boxes and his union head will come unglued if some else does his job. You shouldn't even be doing that."

"Where is he? I need this done now?"

"Mandatory break. You will have to wait."

You clowns are right, a union has never been responsible for a company shutting down and moving over seas.

Can anyone say garment?

Most lefties never ran a unionized shop. By nature they are unproductive.

Get use to global competition.
