Got the seeds from the source . Started growing 6 months ago, out of the 10 seeds.

3 doa
2 started and stopped
5 living

2 phenol types so far

1 tall (female)
4 short (2 female so far)

3 females so far

Not to sure on the phenol types as they are not the real user friendly type of plant. I'm not sure what is causing them to veg so slow and 1 so fast. I'm just getting to sexing the last 2 now, 6 months later. I have made some changes to my setup over the last 3 months so maybe some stress plus getting to know FI better is harder than any strain I have ever grown.

So the short

Buds are airy
smell is mild
not bad yield
Nice colour
Smokes very, very nice
Mild
active high
I like it.

It is early in the do I really like it or just like it test but so far yes I would do it again. I am hard to impress. i'll post some pic's and talk about what I'm feeding them and how their growing. I have some more of the #5 FI plant in different stages mixed in with some of my M39 (no it's not the beasters shit) you'll see what I mean.

So here we go..

Peace

I'm certainly intersted. As you already know I'm just getting started with this strain so anything you can point out would be good. I have noticed that they are starting off pretty slowly. Definitely slow getting from seedlign into veg as I'm about 14 days into this grow and they are JUST starting to get the third leafset. And I mean JUST starting. It definitely feels like it's going to be slow going, but I'm game for it.

Protects the bud in the bag and I'm not to fussy when it's for me. I'll get some pic's for the mom's later and more on how I'm doing. You will see a big diff in the plants.

Here are two more FI flowering at 6 weeks. They are two of them the tall one and the one on the right of it. The rest of the plants are M39.

Growing them in promix 75% and coco 25% Using Pure blend pro and Liquid Karma Hydrozyme and Cal/Mag in 5x4 frames. Just switching over from pots. My quest to make it as simple as I can.

Cloning FI

I use peat pots #7 and soak them in 3/4 gal water mixed with 5ml liquid hormone gel. I cut and dab in gel push the stem in as far as it will go and gently squeeze the pot to make sure I have good contact on the covered stem. In it goes with 31 others into trays and humid dome. I use a heating pad but have a 1/4 peace of wood on both sides of the tray to keep it just above the heating mat. (don't need to water as often) They aren't doing well cloning so far. Way slower than my other girls. Hummmm?

Slow growing plant slow growing clones? Maybe it's something I'm doing, I've been doing this a long time so I'm puzzled . I love a good challenge. Flower it was ready in 61 days not bad at all.

Well I took the first plant down at 61 days, clear try-chromes and about an oz from the plant.

Think I will go just a little longer this time add 5 to 7 days.

Hey Trapper did you keep a growlog on the FI? I ordered it from kindseed.com on solely based on the fact you had success with them! So thank you brotha!

i dont have a grow log,but i never told any one to order FI from kindseed, ive told people to buy god bud and chemo from kindseed,i never thought FI was a keeper,in fact i think all visc look a lot a like,it is hard to tell them a part,i dont care for a place that has 32 differant strains,im not saying they are not worth growing but they were not super, the burmeese had outstanding flavor though.and after a company wins an award you can almost gayrentee a drop off in quality as they rush orders through.

Oh no, I didn't mean I chose FI because you suggested the strain. To be clear, I ordered the FI seeds because the members of RIU voted and decided that's what I would be growing next. I chose kindseed.com because you have had success with them in the past and I know you're not a shill. I took your word and had faith my seeds would show. They did. I remember when you joined this forum (it was around the time that I did) and I just trusted the source..

They seem like they lack vigor to be quite honest. I'm only about 2 weeks into it, but damn these things are slow movers. I can't bash this strain yet, but the truth will be out very, very soon. The strain is clearly quite popular as it consistently got lots of votes from the members here. I'm not sure if it was solely due to the rarity of the strain and the need to order from someone BESIDES attitude or what, but people were sure excited to see this strain grown out.

If nothing else hopefully we'll get some great photogenic buds outta the deal.

you shouldnt be dissapointed they have some tasty smoke,i think that what ever they used in their Burmese they used in all their strains, but when i orderd FI, kindseed only had so many selections not like now were they have reserva prada and a lot of others, and FI was unheard of at the time, but it was known in BC and my buddy grew out the burmeese years ago by reeferman when i was a helper as its called and i thought they were the same cut because from same area, since then FI won an award, and i believe plants get waterd down because they rush to get shit out after HT makes it a name, ive seen it happen before, but i like dealing with kindseed and i like trying canadian genetics, that is why i bought so many of the lesser lights.

i in fact i think ive grown out half the canadian genetics that kindseed offers,or split them with a few people, from federation, next generation,dr atomicic, jordan of the islands, praire prideand a couple i cant remember,i wanted to try them all,i will say dynamite is exactly like grapefruit kush but 50 dollars cheaper.

Well I'm glad I came across your recommendation to use kindseed originally. Now I know where to get some of these Canadian genetics. Until that it was lookin' pretty rough. I'll give a few of them a run for sure in the future.

When you grew FI did you find it was a bit of a slow mover? Maybe I'm just to genes that WANT to grow, but this plant seems really happy with sorta creepin' along. I may have slowed them down with the use of hard tap water, but they should've moved past that pretty quickly. We'll see what the next 7 days holds, bu it will have to be pretty remarkable to start impressin' me.

it wasnt a slow veger at all,but all of them were a soft purple like color and i tend to find anything a bit purple slow to veg,but i never found any of them slow,im just thinking because it won an award it may be messed up now,but i will recommend you buy the god bud from jordan of the islands at kindseed,it is some of the frostyiest ive ever seen, but it is really a slow veger.

It WAS on his website last time I checked, but it's not listed now. I'm sure he's still got some seeds for the right price though. Just don't pay him with an money order, just like all these guys, once they have it they tend to not respond anymore.

I can't really belive he would let that S1 go and stop producing it when it's so popular and you're making that much money off of S1 seeds openly.
