closet size: 130"wide by 72"tall by 30"deep
mylar on the walls
black plastic on the floor
black plastic covering the door
vegitative lights: two 36" 30W T12, two 100W CFL, one 40W CFL
flowering lights: same as above with 400W HPS added later
water: pH 5.3
GH micro, grow and bloom at 3:2:1 ratio for 0.98 mS/cm (~500ppm)
temperature ~ 70F
air: inline intake fan, circulating fan and ceramic heater
basement air temperature ~60F
"night" closet temperature ~70F
"day" closet temperature ~75F
plants: 2 "ice" clones in the back, ~30 days since cutting
1 big seedling, ~30 days since germinating
4 small seedlings, ~15 days since germinating
power to the closet is via three dedicated 20-60amp circuits, one for bubblers, one for lights, one for air. lights are good so far, easy. Water was ok, added an unsoftened water source and got into testing and controlling things.
air has been easy, so far. as it gets warmer outside and in the basement, the heater will be removed and the intake and exhaust will start. one thing that will be a required addition is odor control.
plants have been some trouble. a few seedlings were killed last month, the ones going now are looking ok. the clones had a difficult start but seem to be doing well. the little seedlings don't have any exposed roots yet and get watered by hand.
