Hi All, pretty lengthy post here. I’m completely new to this world. In growing, anyway. I live in a place where it’s not legal (yet) but have been & will continue to study & educate myself as much as possible, before even thinking of growing. We may even end up moving to a legal state before it becomes legal here Anyway..
I want to grow organically & ultimately minimize having to add Almost Anything to the soil after transplanting to their final home; which I suppose will either be 5 or 7 Gallon pots. I do realize that eventually I will end up having to give nutes but hopefully not until flower & even then I’d like to keep that at a
I have a list of things that I either have already or plan to get at a later date. My partner & I have a collection of about 30 or so houseplants so we do have juuuuust a few things.
I plan to have my super soil made in like a 15G tub with the below ingredients & plan to “cook” (water/tea & turn) every other day.
Soil & amendments:
*Base soil: Promix (.30-.05-.10), perlite (.07-.07-.07), worm castings (.8-0-0)
*Lime
*Alfalfa meal (2-0-2)
*Tomato tone (3-4-6) slow release nitrogen
*Bone meal (4-12-0)
*Crab meal (4-3-0)
*Neem seed meal (6-1-2)
*Langbeinite (0-0-22)
Im wondering, would this make a decent SS? If not, what’s missing & or is there anything that should be taken out or substituted?
I also plan to water with only distilled water, (when using water). I’d actually like to use PURE, 100% coconut water, (as much as possible) as I’ve read a few threads pointing out some great benefits of using it!
I, of course, also plan to use tea(S):
-banana tea
-ew castings tea with molasses
-stump tea (from HTG supply)
and anything else I research before beginning.
I have plenty of time but would love to narrow things down & be as ready as possible when it’s time.
I’d LOVE Any input
Thanks in advance!
