First off, thank you. I'm enjoying reading your posts, and trying to learn as much as I can before embarking on my first grow. Grabbed your book from a Barnes and Noble.
If you come out with a second edition, may I make a few suggestions from a newbie's perspective?
1. I wish the book would say what type of CFL lighting is in there. Not brand name, but the type of CFL.
2. Maybe one demonstration of how the lights are raised, lowered, and otherwise moved during the grow. With just four wires going through eyelets, it looks like that would be very challenging for me (someone who is not mechanically inclined). Do you just pull on the wires and then tie them to something (nails?) on the wall? Is there an easy way to do this?
I know, those are newbie type of questions, because I am one. Overall, though, I am really enjoying your book very much, and I'm very impressed with your background, and your attitude of love. The ESPN part has me dying to know which ESPN personality you were, and how you went from a life of servitude to the elderly to a documentary film maker, part of ESPN, and of course, great instructor of how to grow. Maybe that is in another book?
