Garland Grow Light Garden(?)

Hey all,

Been looking into alternatives to the grow cube I'm building and found this:

Based on the reviews, it's cheap to run and does the trick, at least in the salad growing department - But does it have the power to get any flourishing?

I wouldn't go that route. Pretty easy to grow leafy greens with sub-par lighting, but much much more difficult to grow decent flowers/fruit. There's a reason they sell those units with lettuce and herbs.

nah man, maybe u can put seedlings under there buttt nothing much more..

Cheers Gastanker, makes absolute sense! I don't think these things through sometimes lol - Scored it off the list of potential purchases. My line of thinking was that I could have maybe swapped out the bulbs for something more effective and made a compact little grow space, but the unit price is way too high anyway!

Dutchmast3r - Yeah sounds about right! I already have a heated propagator too, so this thing would just be wasted money
