So just got my Gavita 1000 up and running 4 days ago. Just wanted to post if anyone is interested, not much info out on the forum. Noticed right away not nearly as warm in the room temps are running 72 degrees with light on. Just removed my 1000 hortilux super blue and the temps where always around 78 during the day with my ballast outside the room. I'm thinking this is really going to help me out in the summer months. I just keep reading how people say they are hot and increase room temp. I do have good ventilation in and out. Anybody else having the same results? The light is awesome (wear those glasses it actually will give me a headache without them). I'm running a few different stains and have the shortest one in the middle of the light at 24" from fixture and have no burn. Running at 1000 and a little afraid to bump up to 1150 (maybe I don't need to bump it up). Anybody been using this light and can give me a little more insight as to how to use. Right now I'm in flower 4 weeks. Thanks for all input!
