Gendering please help

Okay guys so i'm running a 10 gal DWC hydro system. I have a couple different types of bud growing, a few auto flowering and a couple that i just started from a seed i found in my bud. I know the auto flowers are female, however i cannot tell on this individual. These are a few shots. I'm really hoping my fears aren't confirmed and I'm sitting with a worthless male here that i can't even make any good resin out of, I'm starting to lose hope the longer i look at em. If anyone could take a look at the attached pictures and confirm for me, i'm still not 100% on identifying gender.
i just need to be absolutely sure before i chop it down.
on a different note, how long into flowering does a male plant get before it pollenates my females?

okay so I'm concluding that it's a male. on the top of a lot of the colas theres groupings of the "balls" starting to form that i didn't look at before.. gonna chop him down tomorrow.
My question now is:
Since it is a male, am i right in assuming that he's useless. I can't even make oil out of em? he wouldn't have much thc in his stems/leaves huh? no trychomes or however you spell that.
