I like rosin presses. Im dabs only but know how to make smoke somewhat. I do just flower rosin. I recently found hash is a magical thing. I was harvesting 100gs a harvest not realizing I was losing 70gs using a bud trimmer.
Why doesnt it look like there are 70gs scattered on the bud trimmer? Where did it go? Is it so volitile it can just dissapear? Hmm. My flower rosin better than if I dry sift it and press and dab that.
The greatest hash heads were lost in the harvesting process that provides potency and after taste that lingers for almost an hour. Hand trim and be as gentle possible getting it pressed asap.
Subject to loss until then which can be up to 40% just throwing rough numbers. Anyway so yea I dont dry sift anymore. Good for topping weed but Ive lost yield for no logical reason other than magic. *edit Ive lost hash yield pressing drysift* Voodoo. I rather moon rock rosin.
I like to get that hash out as it doesnt just disappear once its dabbable hash. Bubble is quite the extra work I just dont care for. Ive dabbed it all and this raw product is kick ass.
A low leaf to calyx ratio makes it a easier process hand trimming only to trash it for hash. I cant speak for bho and bubble rosin makers I just know flower rosin and dry sift rosin. Id worry how much Im losing through the process.
Knowing what I just found which Ive never heard before. I just know every time I hand trim my clone I get double hash yield. Im about to prove it a 3rd time. Im nervous but its the only thing that adds up.
I harvested it 3 times with a trimmer and get half the yield I just had no clue. Hope you might like to hear that and give it a try, no solvents or extra steps just smash and grab.
