so I started germinating a bagseed the other day and the seed has cracked and i can see what looks like the beginning of the white taproot in the seed but it wont come out! it has been in the damp paper towel for a couple of days since it cracked and the root still isnt coming out. is this normal? should i just plant the seed and hope it eventually sprouts? thanks for any help

i have gotten seeds that did that to me ,

they start to crack then just stop , a couple days later still no change

so when i get those i dont even fuck with them anymore

i just pop on some more seeds on the paper towel .

From experience I would says its dead ;-(
I done some 30 Big budda cheese and atleast 7-10 done this,5-6 didnt even get a root,4 started to grow and died a cm or so tall (I done every thing right as other straines had 100% succes).
Leave in paper for a bit longer to see what happens,if no joy over a week, its a gonna and id suggest keeping away from that straine as it may be a bad batch and youl end up wasting money like I did.

i just germ mine in the coco pellets in a cup with a little plastic dome on it..
Most all have sprouted within 3 days. Havent had any problems that way. and i dont have to worry about messing the taproot up or risk it growing to long before dirting it./
