Hi,
I usually germinate seeds inside damp tissue paper and as you can imagine though it works the success rate is low.
I have bought some cubes made of organic materials for germinating in, popped the seeds in and watered them. It says to keep them in a warm place but mentions nothing about light or dark.
I have them in the kitchen cupboard at the moment so reasonably warm and dark but I wondered if it would be beneficial to put them under a flourescent light now to encourage them to the surface and also it would add extra warmth.
Would this work?
