Germination question.

Could i put my seeds in moist soil 3 feet away from a 600w hps to germ ? Temp in the grow space is 25c. Would that work ?

No don't. Put them in a glass of good water. Some chlorine in water ok... After a day or so you should see them crack. After they crack put them in between moist paper towel. Put that moist paper towel in a zip lock bag and if you can put them on a little heat it is good (I put my germinating zips on my computers UPS or cable box, they give off just a bit of heat). In a day check them and you should see a tap root. Plant that 1/2 inch under soil and keep soil moist. If you want to put them under a lamp right away, put them under a CFL or low power florescent (i use a 4 foot, 2 bulb t8-flo.
