Germination temps?

I did the: seeds on a wet paper towel on plate, covered with foil and place on cable box method. Ok, Only 2 out of 15 seeds germinated so far, day 3 now. My cable box is quite warm, could it be too warm, and if so, did I kill the rest of the seeds? Help! these weren't cheap!:weed:

wow if you bought them you got ripped. i get bagseed and do the paper towel method and stick them in a zip lock and under my bed. They germinate almost 100%. Just let them sit under room temp or slightly heated not like really warm or hot. also make sure its moist

all of the seeds i have ever purchased seem to have a 90%+ germ rate. maybe the seeds are old??

You could try just planting them in a little soil and see what happens

room temperature is fine. wet paper towels on a plate in a safeway bag works every time.
never heard of a tinfoil cablebox method and well it seems it fails. you still have a 50 50 shot at a fem tho and you only need one

Close to what I do. Get a very wet paper towel(s), almost dripping wet. Fold the seeds into the towel, place in a zip-lock, seal it between 1/2 to 3/4 of the way. Place on top of stereo receiver.
