A friend has four of these Water Farm units and they are working really well. It's a very simple drip system that uses a small air pump to dribble water over clay gravel.
(I don't work for the company, just passing along what worked for my friend.)
He has the air pump on the timer with the lights so it goes off at night.
You have to cover the circular tube that sits over the gravel with foil or something because the air bubbles pop and spray salts all over the surrounding area leaving a white powder.
One problem is that it's hard to empty the buckets without having a hose and a place that's lower than the buckets to drain to. Otherwise you have to elevate the buckets so you can get a pan under the drain tube.
Two buckets with three-foot topped plants looks like it is going to produce 5 to 10 ounces.
He also uses only compact fluorescent bulbs (the really big 120 watt = 300 watt incandescent ones). They are not as good for budding as some others but they seem to be working really well. 3 lights for two buckets that are flowering and 2 lights for two buckets that are vegging, and 1 light for some new cuttings. Cycle according to the plant's flowering cycle and keep the harvest going.
Comes with liquid nutes and gravel and pump. Great for a beginner like my friend.
His first batch was in pots outdoors and these grew much more quickly, but the buds are growing a little more slowly, but there are a lot more of them.
