IMO it would be really expensive if you found a person with the real deal if they decide they want to sell it but if you find someone make sure they got it from an a credited person or have proof that its legit.

Thanks. Was just thinking of getting seeds from a seedbank. Attitudes out of stock on the ghost og from various breeders

If you wanna go the seed route Ive heard Dr Greenthumbs Ghost Og is good. Rare Dankness has some nice ghost crosses (Ive done the ghost train haze) but it looks like theyre out of stock at both places.

i've grown dr greenthumbs ghost cut and it's easily in my top 5 smokes, probably even in the top 3..
amazing smoke, nice smell and bag appeal, and even a good yielder for an og kush imo..

i was pretty impressed with drgt's ghost cut of og kush to put it nicely.. :D

Where can I find those greenthumbs ghost cuts at? Seeds I mean
only at his shop, his name and i think followed by a dot com or simply google it.. his beans aren't the cheapest for sure, but like i said, i had great luck with his ghost cut of og and don't hesitate in recommending it.. :D

Short of tracking down the original breeder... Where might one find an "a credited" person, or find "proof"? I don't mean to pick on you personally, but I hear all kinds of stuff like "verified", "legit", etc... Is there some accredited medical marijuana legit-ness verification board I'm unaware of? Last I checked, there was NO way to prove without a doubt that a strain is or isn't what it's claimed to be... Short of buying seeds, the best we can do is make educated guesses based on our experiences and the experiences (and words) of others.

SC Labs says they have genetic testing and strain verification "coming soon"...

That's cool to hear.

To be honest, though, I have very little confidence in the results reported by MJ labs. They are unregulated, and don't report any of their QC test results (assuming they they even run QC tests). Analyzing blanks, duplicates, matrix spike samples, etc are steps required of all legitimate analytical laboratories. I don't believe MJ labs do any of this. When I see an MJ lab report with 15 or 20 pages of QC documentation (as is typical in the industry), I'll start believing their results.
