I attempted to create and finish a grow journal for my journey with these seeds, but im a lazy sob, so that never worked, after all was said and done, and a few complications, i have some comments i would like to make about my experiences with these two strains
1. Kalashnikova (the fake white russian) - it was a decent yeilder, in my humble opinion, i dont have a lot of strains under my belt, but with 3 weeks under a 40 watter being shared with the superbud, i got just shy of 3 oz. (some of that was a little water weight because i had a small mold issue that i immediately fixed.. but yea.. while it was growing my room smelled like baby throwup.
- this is a HIT amongst my "friends" - the taste has a undertone of Kalua, it has a strong hit with allows you to feel the affects immediately. Lazy eyes and slowed activity was a common theme. some of the beginner smokers didnt like its strong effect and opted for a more mellow strain. it has decent bag appeal, with a mixture of brown and greens throughout. and had a jarred scent of horse manure (seriously..lol.. awkward trying to get girls to smoke this after they smelled it in the jar)
2. SuperBud - yeilded a qp under the same light as the other one.. it had a sweet smell throughout its entire life. From growing all the way to jarring. I cant explain it... it sorta like cheap lemon scented floor cleaner.. either way.. when it came to smell.. it was enjoyable. It had creeper effects, from anywhere from 10-20 minutes. It definitely was a "girly" smoke.. extremely smooth pull, very little "weed" aftertaste... or taste at all for that measure... for the ones that didnt like the Kalash, this was their strain of choice... it is real mellow. you can smoke this and go to work right after... it leaves you feeling "nice"... almost like a alcoholic buzz.. you dont get the urge to clean, sleep, or explain how the universe works.. you just.... enjoy yourself.
**edit.. one thing i forgot to mention is that when you are breaking this up.. it STINKS TO HIGHHH HEAVEN.. which gives a false sense of how powerful it is.. you are initially let down if you arent previously informed about its effects... but if told that its a mellow creeper then you are satisfied.. but the smell when breaking up is extremely misleading
note: how i fix my mold issue, is it zap it with a quick dry microwave method.. 5 minute intervals on 10% power. My brother tried to help me on one but the moron didnt know how to turn the power control down and zapped 1 oz of the Kalash at full strength... needless to say it got fried to almost complete shit.. BUT THERE IS A HUGE BRIGHT SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - the end result was a jar of crispy bud that smelled 100% like roasted peanuts.. it grinded extremely easy (obviously) got its own unique taste. It still got you high... but the fact that it smelled like roasted peanuts helped its marketability 100 fold.
