i've grown attitude's aurora indica twice on my last 2 grows and it has seemed to be a very strong strain. withheld some pretty high temperatures and varying conditions on the first grow and seemed to hold up great. buds i produced were very dense nuggets, tasty. grown under cfl's the first time and hid the 2nd, both good, obviously HID was better though

man green crack is simple to grow and easy to train.. I tell everyone to start with that now.. I have seen 3/4 Pound per plant under low lighting with proper temps and co2.. and when I say low lighting I mean T5's and 400-600

Get ahold of some good bagseed and start with that. You have just as good as results, save lots of money, and I bet you'll have better luck over all.

try blue mystic or nortern lights...also very reasonable you can get 10 regs or 5 fem for about 30-35 bucks

Northern Lights, or a Northern Lights cross is going to be very user friendly. Here's a good NL strain... http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/white-label-seeds/white-label-feminized-seeds/white-label-northern-lights-feminized/prod_511.html

This is another really good strain for beginners. If you watch the video, the breeder describes it as the last plant standing in any grow room. It called S.A.G.E.
http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/th-seeds/th-seeds-feminized/t-h-seeds-s-a-g-e-feminized/prod_776.html

Both the strains I've suggested are feminized, so you wont have to worry about any males. Read the descriptions on those links!(I think the SAGE even has a video) You'll see they're both perfect for ya'.

Hope this helps!

I'm growing a few different strains but the Northern lights crossed with Skunk seems to be the best.. i'm a newbie as well, and this strain has been through it all and its still going strong... but like the another poster said it does get tall!! good luck man and I hope you don't make many of the same mistakes i've made or am going to make.. cheers

Crop the tops of your plants(If you have to), and you can keep them from getting too tall.
i agree with everyone else on the northern lights and crosses.i have a nl x big bud and it has taken alot of punishment.i also recomend chocolope from dna genetics, good and easy plus its a sativa dominent strain that buds in 9 weeks,i like that since i stick to indica dew to bud time, this way i can have a sativa in the garden a wont mess up my cycle at all

go with a dozen bag seeds for your first attempt to grow. Follow that after you have one month old bag seeds doing well and thriving with purchased seeds....You will learn much in 4 weeks....most likely stressing out or killing many. Suggest purple wreck and something from greenhouse like a combo pack with white widow in it. There are some that are harder to grow then others but most all grow about the same far as green thumb needs. size, quality and yield are something you should pay attention to..

This is my first grow with any 'real' strains, after a few generations of bagseed grows to get the hang of it.(so to speak.LOL) I currently have 'Crystal', 'Velvet Kush', and 'Velvet Ice(cross between Velvet Kush and Ice) in their 5th week of bloom. I fucked up the PH pretty bad(don't to 5.2 soil PH ) for like 4 weeks, and both the 'Velvet' strains had a lot of yellowing and heat stress damage from the lights and high temps(it was 84* in the bloom room until I got it fixed recently), but 'Crystal' was barely bothered at all. It's a very tough strain, and looks freaking awesome. The buds and upper leaves look like their coated with sugar, almost white colored. I'm not sure of it's potency, but it has to be good, with that many trichomes. The yield looks like it's going to be really nice too. Those are the only 3 I've ever tried to grow, so i can't say for sure, but i think that 'Crystal' is going to be a winner.(actually, it was a cup winner.LOL)

Noob recommended!
