Hello my fellow growers and enthusiasts,
This is my journal for my new grow. I have done this a numerous times. I am pretty happy with my setup and previous results, so it is time to share information with you guys.
Tent:
80x80x200 centimeters (approx. 32x32x78 inches)
Hydroponics System:
Atami Wilma XL with 4 11L pots. Modified to single pot placed in the center for best lighting and air circulation and room to grow.
Lighting:
Lumatek Attis LED 300W
Growing Medium:
Hydroton medium and small size premixed.
Nutrition of choice:
Terra Aquatica Tripart, Seeweed, Silicate, Calmag, Trikologic, Flash Clean, and Final Part.
Reservoir and Climate Control:
Fans, active-carbon filtered exhaust, diy dehumidifier/air-cooler and diy water chiller.
Carbon Dioxide:
1 bag of Exhale CO2
Expected harvest:
12-14 weeks. 3 weeks grow, 9 weeks flowering.
Sensors, Probes and Devices:
Hanna pH and EC probes. My future posts will include an automation system including Atlas Scientific pH, EC, temperature, dissolved oxygen and ORP sensors as well as peristaltic dosing of pH and nutritions.
Day 1:
Planted seed in lightly soaked Root-It in a shot glass covered with cling film, stored in a dark cabinet.
Day 3:
First sign of germination.
Day 4:
Seed sprouted about half an inch within the last 24 hours.
Day 5:
Transferred the seedling to 18/6 lighting environment, within the tent. Covered in a propagation pod with lid aeration closed. Lighting is at 20%.
