IMO Gorillas are highly overrated. You can do just as well with a much cheaper tent, reinforcing it a little if necessary. I think I will build my own next time. My daughter does marine upholstery and canvas and I'm pretty sure we could produce a quality tent. That being said I just got a pretty sweet yield from a $75 4 x 4 I got off ebay.

Gorillia tents are good becasue of the fat poles they use. I have a ton of sheet mounted inside and on top of it.
The 1860 fabric sheet is ok it creases the mylar inside if you step on it.
The over lapping flaps work
Those xxl zippers are the best part but the end stops will fall the fuq off if you muscle it.
The velcro parts suck no doubt.
The fact I can extend it to 12 feet is a plus
Light tight 99%. I don't have to tape seams and sheet.
Is it worth the $$$. I would not buy a new one unless I could not snag one off craigs for the low.
and even then It may cost about the same to fit up a basement space so idk. It is a quality tent tho dont get it twisted.

Absolutely agree. I believe their overpriced in my opinion. I've used a Jardin for several years with impressed results. No wear on the zipper which to be honest is inevitable. East to setup and the price was very right. It's a 4x4 by the way. Good luck to you.
