Got 4 growing right now.Do they look fine to you?

I don't know if they are normal.One reason,no idea about the strain.The bud was lime green with alot of crystals(forgot the real name of it).I always just called em crystals lol.Anyway.Ive had these as close to light as they need to be.Any closer I think they would probly die.They seem to be stretching a lil to much.Is this normal for some strains when they first grow?I know you guys are going to laugh,maybe this is the cause of the strecthing.I have them on a 18/8 cycle.Using 2 100w bulbs for now.Closet is 8x8.I have been running a fan on low while the lights are on.Last 2 days I been leting the fan run the whole time.I bought some mircale grow plant food.Its 24-8-16.

I feel they relly need it right now.I plan on geting some decent quality soil soon.Just haven't had the time.By the time I get off work most other stores close.And I can't drive which makes it harder.Would I kill my babes if I used the plant food now?As long as I mix & water correctly it will not cause nute burn,thats what it showed on the back of the box.Thanx for any help.I hope I get some help before they die.

no don't feed them fr 2 or 3 weeks and when you do start at a 1/4 strength and work up, but just keep watering with ph'ed water fornow. that 24-8-16 works great ,i use it. 18/6 lighting is good, but add more lights if you can. at least a couple more

they are so tiny no nutes for a month. I've always had bad luck with those planters too.

Opps.Sry mygirls,I ment 18/8.Is that bad?Thanx.1/4 strength?What would it be? 1/4 of 1/2 a teaspoon?I am definatly a noob lmao.What is the best water?I can get purified & spring water were I work.Also is it beter to have the water room temp or warm?To cold or hot would probly shock em I think.I haven't relly grown anything but moonflowers when I was a kid.Thats why I seem so ignorant on growing in general lol.Also is it bad to have a light to the side instead of directly above?Its all I can do for now.Ive seen 2 way adapters for light sockets,but is theyre any 4 way?Thax again.

Ok man... buy a power bar and some more bulbs. Any purified water with an ok PH works fine. And a quater of a half a teaspoon lol is 1/8 of a teaspoon. I would also move them to pots soon. Good luck!!

Lol thanks.I haven't had much sleep lately.Is it ok on 18/8?Or should I go with 18/5 or 6 since my light setup isn't that strong right now?

Been using 18/6 now.Im geting new lights & some fox farm Ocean Forest next friday.Do you think they can live like this for 1 more week?Sorry about the pic quality,but ive noticed some differances between the 4.The 1 that is showing most(front left) has leaves curl down a lil.2nd on showing(bottem right) most looks like some rabbit ears.I plan on dumping 2 when I get my setup.Is the onely way you can tell the sex,by flowering?Since im going down to 2 plants im just going to use 2 lights.Closet is a 8x8.Would this work good?

Will my idea work?I want to grow with CFLs,but I don't want a bunch to light a couple plants.So far MaxLite has the lumens I been looking for.Thanks for any more help/advice.

personally i'd go with 24/0 for the first month until they get further along and u get some more lights then i'd start to very gradually go to 18/6 then keep an eye on em and when u start to see pre-flowers lower it to 12/12. works for me

if u dont want a bunch of lights go for a hps of as high as watts as u can cool. i use cfls so i can have em everywhere in a small grow area, if u got the room and can hook up mogul sockets like u can i'd use hps w/o a doubt

I was going for a hps.But I can't find them cheap.Why is just the reflecter like a $80-$100?Its just a sheet of metal for cryin out loud.Is theyre anywhere I could get a 400w+ hps setup with ballast & reflecter for a decent price(not $150+)?Maybe I haven't looked hard enough idk.One thing I like about hps,bulbs are cheaper to replace then a 200w self ballast CFL.

i dunno if they are legitimate but theres a ton on ebay that are *dirt cheap*. but im worried it wont work or the bulb will be dead or just plain old fashioned getting ripped off. has anyone buy tried/did their lights/fan/nutrients/ from ebay?

def let up on the watering, the soil is looking like mud. wait til the first couple inches are dry before you water
