Granddaddy Purple, probably about 2 weeks to go

First time (not the last) time growing this classic and I think we're getting close. This lady is GDP from ilovegrowingmarijuana.com 20200402_220146.jpg20200402_220314.jpg20200319_230634.jpg
 
The pics are from lower buds and the trichs are starting to get milky, hence my 2 week estimate. This is also day #50 although I only use that as a general guide
 
Just thinking about this...When they say this strain takes 8 weeks and that strain takes 60-65 days, what are they referring to? I thought it was the time of 12/12 but I've also heard it is the time since the first sighting of pistils. Anyone know for sure? Just curious

Forget days. The plants ripe when the plants ripe, too many variables to pinpoint days or weeks.

BK, I KNOW that. Like I said I'm just curious. I know all about trich color, been doing this a long time but I was simply curious
