Hello all,

I thought I'd try and beat the man, in this case the capitalist pigs that are the marijuana seed companies, at their own game. After getting old seeds that didn't germinate well and were obviously not high quality the last few times I ordered, I thought I'd try and get some people together to form a seed swap group.

We should not be lining these people's pockets with money. They are not progressing the legalization of marijuana in a proper way, but instead are just filling their pockets and taking advantage of a shitty situation. Since weed is borderline legal here already, I have no problem mailing seeds (though still discreetly) to other canadians. I hope more people feel this way and we can help each other out! Anybody on board?

So lets see what we have here a seed exchange of what.. Homade chucks / other breeders gear?

The thing with these seed exchanges and from other forums is, how do you know that you got those seeds ( of whichever breeder and not bag seeds).

The Marijuana seed companies do a great justice by making seeds available to you to grow certain strains.

Last, which seedbank did you order your seeds from and who was the breeder.

In 2017, most breeders have instgram presence aswell as the seedbank.

Yeah so give up the company and breeder and go from their.

The breeder aslo deserves to make income off his work that he has put in.

Seed companies bottle neck marijuana diversity, seed swapping is by far better for the future of the plant and us growers.

what should I do if im a breeder; I spend time and money and more time to offer you a product mine.

I set a value for this or sell it direct what do you want?

The guys on about swapping seeds, i didnt see it had anything to do with breeders more home growers (although he is vague and i dont know his situation).

Breeders welcome me breeding their seed on further, my favorite two companies openly encourage it and supply original breeding stock seeds for those who wish to make seeds.

It's an ok concept, we did it back in the day between friends then everyone got all greedy and attitudy Judy so we quit, then you could just go buy them lol. Not sure where your getting the seeds but I've had pretty good luck buying them the last few years. I am looking for some c99 femmed if you got em though :).

these breeders selling seeds for ten/15 bucks a pop makes me puke. they're not honest people. please don't try to sell them as such. when you go to one of these seed sites and put a ten pack, a five back, and some single seeds into your shopping cart and the sum of those 20 seeds is 150 bucks, im sorry, but something is very wrong. then you get this shit home and its not really any better than some seeds your buddy gave you, except for that its super hyped up aweosme OG gangsta named shit, and it apparently will be ready in 60 days and have this and that and blah blah blah. but relaly when you grow it its ready in three weeks more than the breeder claimed, and 3/5 seeds popped, and when you opened them you could tell they were old ass seed stock..im sorry the bullshit is piling up so high that ive forgotten what my point even was. capitalist money grubbing pigs is what 90% of these seed companies/breeders are. just like your neighborhood pot dealer. its all about the money money money. thats why i grow my own, fuck dealers. alwyas hated those fuckers.

Ive never had bad seeds but ive always bought from long established seed vendors like Sensi and DP, too many sharks in the water to tempt fate from some new breeder.

I have never gotten bad seeds, so I want to know which breeder..

He made up the fact that if its call some og gangtsa whatver that its to much.

You have to pay to play always.

To be sure there are a lot of crappy breeders and sharks about.... now that everyones looking to make money and businesses.

I agree with the whole breeders exchanging /trading seeds.... The price is a bit stupid. If you do the math at 5 bucks a seed with a plant giving 1000+ seeds. You can make more selling seed than flower. The illegality is what drives the price and once the laws start changing hopefully the prices come down too. Once legalization hits in Canada at least, your legal access comes through the LP's. More people need to grow and more people need to share and improve the genetics so we're not stuck with the same old shit all the time.

To you sir, thats the beauty of choice and other options. Some breeders value their work at $300-$750 for some packs of <10-12> seeds.

It all comes down to what you want, not to say you will not find good in $80/10 pack.

Its good you guys want to beat the man, but there are bigger fish to fry.

I mean hmm, you have seed stock and can make clones and can supply or make seeds.

again! depends on which breeder to spend your hard earned dollar on.

Every breeder I have spent my dollar on has been good. This comes after building a relationship with the breeder.

Take the scrappy seeds you bought and WORK THEM. 1 chuck 1000s of seeds to pheno hunt. Even if its 10 at a time breeding best siblings they will improve.
May take 10 yrs or if your lucky 3 or 4 seasons. Trading and crossing randomly does nothing for the plant.
Improve what you've got. The potential for the greatest plant in the world is in EVERY viable seed.
