I was watching the prepers show and seen this one guy who had a camper buried under ground and had thousands of dollars invested in his survival and I notice a major flaw, a deadly flaw in his design..(well two)
We on this site know a thing or two on air, C02, lighting, and other key factors that involve plants to stay alive, and how to filter air...
Now what I seen was that this guy is using a 1/4" thick carbon filter that can be found at the hardware store, 4" dryer hose and a low volume, in-line fan assist to bring in fresh outside air for his family..
I have used the same 1/4" filter, same hose and the same fan, and I know for a fact that this isn't gonna work for this guy and his family.
Back in the day, are NBC suits had carbon in them, along with the filters on the gas mask, probably still that was..
The suits had a exposer time like a few days, after that they wasn't as affective.
Didn't really think to much of what they was made of and why back then, but now I know and care..
Months ago I heard of Green Gator Filters from a friend on this site, and decided to give them a try, I was tired of the disposable metal can filters that didn't work that great, my opinion...
Fast shipping, nice packaging, came with a few freebies...
Easy install, just a matter of minutes and it was up..
Real heavy duty design, thick ass walls of carbon, kinda was impressed..
Now after months of use, you would never know that there was any gardening going on, and even have been breathing better also.
Even have been thinking about installing a few in the whole house system just for better quality air..
Like for those who would have man caves, smoke rooms, or what ever, this gator fan would use one for those..
I know this may sound like a damn commercial or something, but you gotta try one of these filters.
I would post a few pics, but there must be a issue with site or my computer at this minute..
Rep to the Gator........
The other deadly flaw was he didn't have any means to grow food inside, and that would help out with some air issues also, just saying..
