Green pistils? Or are they even pistils?

Hi

So this is my first time growing. I had this (and a bunch of other plants) in the outdoors for a good, long 3 months. They’ve all grown, but that’s it. I’ve never seen a white pistil in them, nor sacs. I’ve recently started keeping one of them inside in the dark for 12 hours, and today I notice these green pistils. Do I even have a female plant? What do you guys think about this?

Think this needs to grow more? Or should I continue with 12 hours day/night cycle?

The first pic kinda looks like it might have a female preflower, but it's hard to tell.

The green things are stipules. Look at your first image and check out the axilla on the bottom right. I think I see a pistil. Check with a little magnification on the plant and good luck.

Hi,

Thanks! I just had a closer look, and it looks like there’s a tender white pistil, but I am not sure. My other plants exhibit the same behaviour. Weird thing is, I’ve planted about half a dozen, and none of them have shown any signs of their sex. It’s been 3 months, so I wondering if i was on the right track.
