So I went in to check my plant today because its due for her next watering.

I look and the stem is purple!!:o

at the soil its green, then fades into purple!!!

The branches have purple on top and green underneath.

bottom leaves yellow, tops leaves mostly green but with a yellowish tint.

I have used any nutes at all yet. I planned to start that today.

Is something wrong with my plant? I'm about to go get some distilled water to use from now on.

What should I do? I'm worried!

What do you think is wrong?

It might be the water you are using but it's definitely time to feed in any case. Just buy the water you can get from a dispenser in the supermarket. It's cheap and good.

you posted a pic a couple days ago that already showed it kind of going that way. But it's certainly wilty now! Maybe it's dry. So I would ask; how long ago did you water and how much water, etc. When you start feeding, which you should do right away, use 1/4 of the recommended strength of nutrient and be sure to water the pot thoroughly and slowly until the soil is saturated and water runs out the bottom. Don't water again until the pot feels light. Your plant should perk up pretty quickly. It looks essentially healthy.

I watered it last on Tuesday. when I gave it 2 cups of water with 1tsp of Hydrogen Peroxide.(last time i did that it perked up a lot and showed big improvements. this time that didn't happen.

I've been using tap water and dont have a tester( i know thats bad), but i just went to the store and bought some distilled water.

2 gallons of it. I'm going to mix nutes in one and use the other for clean watering.

I'm going to be using MG All purpose. it says to mix 1 tsp with 1 gallon so I will mix 1/4 tsp with 1 gallon.

I haven't been saturating all the soil when watering, mostly just right around the plant.

I'll mix my nutes and water her and see how it goes.

Thanx for your insights!kiss-ass

what kinds of nutes are allready come in the soil? or was it a hand made blend if so what did u use
there were no nutes in the soil.

I bought premium topsoil from target garden center.

then i mixed in perlite, pretty good amount its nice and airy but not to much.

when I put it in the big pot i gave it mg quick start root stimulater then again a week later. last time i used that was 10 days ago. all its had is water since then.

its now been in soil for 23 days from cutting to now

Yea, you need to water the pot, not the plant. That gives the roots somewhere to grow. When you water with not enough water and just right around the base of the plant, you are effectively reducing the size of the pot.
water thoroughly when you water. I agree too that you would be better off ditching the Miracle Grow all purpose. You can get away with it, but you will be much more successful with MJ specific nutrients.

I plan to do that for my next grow. I found my local hydro store.

They have all the good fox farm products (ocean forest soil, big bloom, etc...)

This is my first time though. More or less a trial run. An experiment so to speak.

If this grow is successful then I will probably do 1 more single plant grow before deciding to move out of my current location into a more spacious environment.
At which point i will invest in an 400 Watt HPS, full on grow box with real vents, the whole 9 yards.

for now its a little closet grow. so MG should suffice for now.
