So after three years of research and saving and all that i've finally got my grow up and running. I've been gardening my whole life but this is my first time growing marijuana, also my first time growing indoors or hydroponically. Anyway I'm 3 weeks into flowering and things have gone great, i'll describe the system:
Inside of a 4'x4'x7' secret jardin grow tent is housed a 600w digital HPS cool tube being cooled by an inline fan. I'm attempting a closed circuit grow meaning there is no air exchange in my grow tent so i have a 20lb Co2 tank and regulator hooked up to a timer. It's two plants set up in a SCROG modeled after Rumpleforeskins' grow.
As for feeding I'm running the old school Lucas Formula with a little bit of SuperThrive and some H2O2 in a 37g rubbermaid filled with 20g of nutes. The nutes are delivered to my plants through DWC and also three foggers which create a really thick fog layer. i had no idea how much fog these things put out so 3 may have been overkill but the fog layer's really thick my roots seem huge and were growing really fast it seemed so i'm convinced my plants love em. There big draw back is they create a ton of heat. my reservoir would rise till above 90! i'd fight it with frozen bottles but I was forced to buy a chiller to keep my reservoir at 68 (also it mixes my nutes and stops them from settling at the bottom), but im pretty sure the high reservoir temps added an extra month to veg... who knows tho its my first grow, thats why im posting this, tell me what're your thoughts. I feel like i've done a pretty good job but wanted to see if there was anything glaring that stuck out at anybody. thanks
