Hey there guys,
I have been reading up on leds and this seems the place where people are most informed. I am planning to build multiple leds over the coming months and this will be my first build. For now i would like to have you opinion on the best way to go.
So first the situation:
-Want to build it on the cheap
- Effieciency > par
-90*90*140 space
- Should be flowering light
Got already:
- Got a old "blurple" crap light with 150 w draw ( will find out all the specs and post them)
- tools
- (almost) unlimited supply of cpu heatsinks
For the first part i would like to focus on choosing the electronics for the light. I was doubting a bit between the new vero 29 gen 7(BXRC-35G10K0-C-7X) and the citi (CLU058-1825C4 or CLU058-3618C4). Also was doubting about a mix with just 1 CXB3590 and couple of smaller leds around.
For the driver i am leaning to buying a meanwell because they just seem very stable and efficient, but always open to suggestions. should be something like the hlg-185h-48a to get the efficiency by pushing a low current. Would prefer wiring in series.
Looking forward to your suggestions.
